Ger Breslin Jewellery

Geraldine means ‘Spear Bearer’ and it is from this perspective that Ger gets inspiration for her contemporary jewellery.
“My jewellery is for the strong, both inside and out. It’s for the beautiful both inside and out. It is strength in beauty and beauty in strength

Since her first step into a metalwork class in her teenage years,Ger has been creating jewellery..

After leaving school she completed an intensive jewellery course with Milo Fitzpatrick at his studio off Baggot St. and a craft course in the Liberties College, Dublin .

In  1999 she started working for the artist, sculptor and jewellery designer Alan Ardiff in his Dublin studio.   Here, under his watchful eye and along with the guidance of esteemed goldsmith Lee Harding, Ger honed her jewellery techniques and learned the art of designing and silversmithing.

Over the next 9yrs, she became workshop manager and mentor to many trainees, who have gone on to start their own ventures also.

Now Ger has her own workshop/studio and creates contemporary jewellery pieces. She has been featured in magazines,on-line and various innovative exhibitions.
